She's gone.

Tuesday, 11:30ish. The vet came out to the house.
We'd taken her that morning but there was nothing else we could do.
She went in her daddy's arms (my father - she was my baby girl but say "Go to daddy" and she would go to him. Say "Go to mummy" and she would go to my mother).
We buried her shortly after and did our best to give her a service. We said some words, lowered it into the ground, and scattered some dirt on top.
We're going to build some kind of memorial but the bill for the house-call was astronomical, so it'll have to wait until next month.

We say good morning and good night, and I love you, every time. Personally speaking, it's my way of trying to cope.
